Pieter Wolters

Pieter has an electrical engineering background in the railway industry with the specialty of rolling stock. Starting with engineering jobs he started working in IT working on automation of rollingstock maintenance processes with systems like R5 and Maximo. After an eight year long period in e-learning he started as a business analyst. When collecting requirements for our Real Time Monitoring system he started using Enterprise Architect in 2016.

When collecting requirements for a Real Time Monitoring system the management of the collected requirements started to be a burden using Word, Excel and Powerpoint. After looking into Enterprise Architect we decided to use EA. How did we start using EA? What is being collected in EA. Using EA now for more than years it is becoming a very versatile tool.
