An MDG for IDEA

Introduction

For the IDEA project a MDG file is developed. With this MDG it is possible to model three layers in our architecture:

• Data Management
• Conceptual
• Logical

The physical layer is not implemented in IDEA since these are well covered in the default MDG files for XSD and Database modelling

For the MDG the following elements are available:

• Toolboxes for the three layers
• Diagrams for the three layers
• Search functionalities
• Model view
• Scripts (here a problem encounters with the project browser and the diagram scripts)
